How it Works

Now that our prepared application works properly, it’s time to take a deep dive into how this application is set up with means of the icom Data Suite. Learn how flexible the configuration can be done, using the examples of Modbus sensor values, gateway internal values, timers, internal flags, arithmetics, MQTT combined in an event-driven system.

  • Go to the browser window with the web interface of the icom Data Suite or enter the address 192.168.1.10 in a web browser and open the web interface of the icom Data Suite.

Reading out the Modbus sensor (temperature, humidity)

Scaling sensor values

Reading out status values (device status, Modbus connection)

Generating a controllable test signal

Sending values via MQTT to the ALSO IoT Platform
