Card information

A click on the ICCID/USIM of a licence or menu down of the drop-down list SIM Cards takes you to the detailed information of this SIM card. The drop-down list can be limited to matching SIM cards by entering a search text.

The name of the device in which the SIM card is inserted is displayed in the Device field. A click on pencil CHANGE opens a drop-down list with the names of all devices registered in the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN. Select the name of the device in which this SIM card is inserted. To enter a name irrespective of the assigned device, or if the device does not exist in the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN, a free text can be entered. If a text is entered freely, the entry Add "<name>" will appear in the drop-down list. By clicking on _"Add <name>", this name will be used as the device name (freely entered device names are only used in the icom Connectivity Suite – M2M SIM and not in the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN). Click on CONFIRM to set or change the name.

The current status of the SIM card (Activated, Test Ready, Deactivated) or Retired) is displayed in the SIM State field. A click on pencil ACTIVATE activates a deactivated SIM card. A click on pencil DEACTIVATE deactivates an active SIM card. A retired SIM card can no longer be activated and will be removed from the SIM portal at the end of the current billing period. SIM cards in the Test Ready state must first be assigned a rate plan before they can be activated.

The current connection status is displayed in the In Session field.

The Rate plan field shows the rate plan currently selected for this card. A click on pencil CHANGE shows the rate plans available for this card and a different rate plan can be set for this card.

The Alerts field displays the alerts set up for this SIM card. A click on (All alerts) displays the Alerts page where new alerts can be added. A click on link plus NEEW ALERT adds an alert to this card. All available alerts are available for selection in the Add new alert drop-down list.
The threshold value for the amount of transmitted data is specified in the Limit column; when this is reached, this alert will be triggered. The default value for this is 10 MB. In the Deactivate card? column, it is specified whether the SIM card is deactivated when this alert is triggered. The default value when creating an alert is no deactivation; a deactivation must be configured. In the column Send E-mail?, e-mail addresses are specified to which a notification will be sent when this alert is triggered. The e-mail address of the current user will be entered when the alert is created; further addresses can be added. A click on link off red in the Actions column will unlink this alarm from this card. Changes made here to an alert will also appear for that alert in the list on the Alerts page.

Note Depending on the network operator, the limit may be exceeded by up to 20 % before the alert is triggered. If a download is in progress while the card is deactivated, it will still be completed and thus the amount of data will increase.

The Usage History field shows the data and SMS volume for the last six months for this SIM card.

All activities, i.e. changes related to this SIM card, are listed in the Activities field. For details in the table refer to Activities.
