Change (standard) password

It is prerequisite that you have access to the web interface of the router.

  1. Open the user interface of the router in a browser: insys.icom [1]

  2. Click in the cog AdministrationUser menu in the line of the respective user on pencil and enter a new Password.

  3. Click on   SUBMIT  .

  4. Click on   ACTIVATE PROFILE  cog white  .

This new password is already valid with the next login of this user.

Note A typo during entry or forgetting the credentials stored here causes that the router cannot be accessed any more. Access is then only possible again by resetting the router to default settings. However, all other settings in the router will also be lost with this.

Add a new user

  1. Click on plus in the AdministrationUser menu and enter User name and Password for the new user.

  2. Select the User group for the new user from the drop-down list.

  3. Click on   SUBMIT  .

  4. Click on   ACTIVATE PROFILE  cog white  .

It is possible to login using the credentials of the new user with the next login.

The following user groups grant the respective user different rights:

  • Read/Write: Settings can be read and modified

  • Read: Settings can only be read

  • Status: Only status information can be viewed

Note If write rights are not granted at least one user, the router cannot be configured any more after a new login. Access is then only possible again by resetting the router to default settings. However, all other settings in the router will also be lost with this.
