With SLAAC (StateLess Address AutoConfiguration), the router will configure itself an IPv6 address with the broadcasted prefix in addition to its already configured addresses if there is a router in the respective local network that broadcasts IPv6 address prefixes using router advertisement. If this is not required since no IPv6 or no Router Advertisement is used in a local IPv6 network, it is recommended to deactivate SLAAC for this local network
-
Click in the Network → Interfaces menu in the IP networks section in the line of the network net1 on , then on to extended view and uncheck the checkbox Start SLAAC.
-
Click on SUBMIT .
-
Repeat the deactivation of SLAAC for each further local network (IP net 2-5), if this is active (checkbox Active is checked) and no IPv6 or no Router Advertisement is used in this local IPv6 network.
